I started paws too claws for various reasons but I know I was born to love on and work with animals. When I was a kid I’d make my parents pull over at farms to pet various animals or stop to see the horses on the side of the road.
I Got my 1st dog after college and have been a lifelong pet parent since. I’ve had cats. Dogs. Fish and birds. Animals have always been a true love of mine.
Then I met my soul dog, Sammy and I wanted to figure out a way to work together and help others who couldn’t be with their animals due to work or vacations etc. so Paws Too claws was established in 2017. I worked with animals for 6 years prior to opening paws too claws making it 15+ years of experience.
Paws Too claws is serious about dog walking and Pet sitting. It is not a hobby or something done between jobs. Dog walking and pet sitting is my career.
I am so thrilled to be in this business because I believe pet ownership is truly one of those pure experiences that life has bestowed upon us. The irony is that people often think that humans are here to ensure pets’ survival. However, you and I both know that it is more than likely the other way around.

Paws too Claws has 3 popular options for visit length. 20 minute , 30 minute or 60 minute all designed for your dog to get some exercise and a potty break while you are at work or out with family and friends.
20 or 30 minutes. Allows for play time with your feline friend. Food and water. Litter box cleaning and cuddles.
8pm to 8am in your home. The attention and care in you dog/cat’s own space. In home sitting helps maintain their normal routine while you are away. Keeps their anxiety down and you have peace of mind knowing someone is with you beloved Pet.

We primarily care for cats and dogs, but also have experience with small animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, and fish. If you have a different type of pet, just ask and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
Absolutely! We offer a meet and greet with every job we take. This way, we can get acquainted with your animal and understand their individual needs by getting to know you and your pet.
Most of our clients provide us with a key or a code to the keypad on their garage. Having a key is also a smart backup plan in case of a power outage.
We walk in most weather conditions, but your pet’s safety always comes first. In extreme heat above 95°F or freezing temperatures below 5°F, we will typically stay indoors and engage your pet with indoor enrichment activities.
Holiday rates apply on the following days: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
